Did you guess which film featured the architectural windows from our previous post?
The hit 1986 movie, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off opens with high school senior, Ferris Bueller, deciding to skip school, with his girlfriend, Sloane, and his best friend, Cameron to spend the day in Chicago. Ferris persuades Cameron to let them drive his father’s Ferrari into the city.
Ferris and his friends arrive downtown and leave the Ferrari with two garage attendants, who take it for a joyride.
At the end of the day, Ferris and his friends pick up the Ferrari, but discover that hundreds of miles have been added to the odometer. Ferris comes up with a plan to run the car’s engine in reverse on a jack inside the garage. When they realize that this is not working, Cameron kicks the front of the Ferrari. Just when it looks like the car will fall off the jack, he calms down. Then he leans against the car, which falls off the jack and crashes through the glass wall, landing in the ravine below.
If only Ferris had called Fieldstone Windows. Maybe we could have helped Cameron out. Contact us for a free in-home window estimate. Expert installation, no frustration!
