This beautiful farmhouse-style home with black single-hung windows is definitely a show stopper.  A window that includes one moving sash is a single-hung window.  The lower sash will usually shift up and down while the top sash does not move.  The added SDL colonial grilles enhance the farmhouse look and add a nice contrast to the white siding.  Some windows are also a mix of fixed casement and awning as you can see in the 2nd photo.  What do you think of these windows?
