Awning windows are hinged at the top, and wind open much like a casement window. An awning window is particularly useful for openings that are too wide to fit a single casement window, and too narrow to fit two comfortably. An awning window was the right choice for this kitchen sink area. Craftsman style SDL grilles add interest.
