This Toronto-area project focused on a clean, confident entry upgrade designed to suit the home’s architectural style while standing up to the demands of the GTA climate. We supplied and installed a custom fiberglass entry door that blends classic detailing with modern performance.

The door features a smooth five-panel Shaker design, finished in black on both the interior and exterior for a cohesive, tailored look. This style works equally well in traditional and transitional homes, offering structure and visual weight without feeling heavy. Flat black hinges and hardware preparation complement the finish and keep the overall aesthetic consistent.

A custom glass lite was integrated into the design to add interest and depth. The glass combines clear and textured Low-E panels, allowing light to pass through while maintaining privacy. Subtle SDL bars reinforce the Shaker-inspired look and add a touch of traditional character without overpowering the door’s clean lines.

The completed entry adds definition and presence to the exterior, creating a strong first impression while improving everyday function. It’s a simple, well-executed upgrade that shows how the right materials and proportions can make a lasting impact.
