Lift and Slide Door – North York

We installed a 14′ x 10′ tall metal clad lift and slide door for this North York job, and what a difference. Previously, there were two french doors, but now there is a huge opening and a fantastic view into the garden with this door. There is plenty of light in the living area, which brightens it up and makes it feel warm and inviting.

The exterior is painted iron ore and the interior is white.  Because it uses a system of levers and wheels to lift the panel off the sill, lift and slide is a popular option for large span openings since it allows huge, heavy panels to be moved with minimum effort.
