This Toronto home got a major exterior refresh with the installation of new casement windows with SDL grilles at the top. Replacing the original white windows with bold black frames completely changed the look of the home, creating stronger contrast against the brick exterior while still complementing the traditional architecture.

For this project, we installed black vinyl casement windows throughout the front elevation, including a large picture window combination on the main floor and matching upper-level windows. The casement windows added character and symmetry to the design, bringing in a subtle heritage-inspired detail while keeping the overall look clean and updated.

One of the biggest transformations in this before-and-after project is how much more defined the window openings now appear. The previous white windows blended into the brick façade, while the new black windows help frame each opening and give the home a more polished, modern appearance.

In addition to the curb appeal upgrade, the new energy-efficient casement windows provide improved insulation, smoother operation, and lower maintenance compared to the older units. The updated design also allows for better ventilation and a brighter interior feel.
