Steel Double Door with Sidelights – Toronto
3753
For this historic Toronto home, we had the opportunity to install this beautiful steel double door with sidelights. The steel frame has a thermal break between the exterior and interior steel. Without the thermal break, the exterior steel is directly connected to the inside steel. The cold will be transferred from the outside to the inside. Because fiberglass is not a good conductor, it is placed between the exterior and interior to ensure that cold does not pass to the interior steel. The lead tape on the glass also contributes to the heritage appearance.
