A fixed over awning window is a good choice for certain applications. Sometimes the opening may be too wide for a single casement, or hung window. Maybe ventilation is required without the risk of break-ins or rain. Here it was chosen to match the other windows in the same room. We cut this window into the wall to add more light and ventilation. You can still see the wet mortar where we re-bricked.
